Deijha Blake - Advanced Clinical Resident

Starting therapy can feel daunting, but that first step can open the door to insight, healing, and meaningful change.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or grief, I’m here to help. As an advanced clinical resident, I create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you will feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we’ll work toward growth, healing, and transformation.

My approach draws from narrative and person-centered therapy, helping you explore your experiences, relationships, and personal story. This process cultivates greater self-awareness and deeper emotional understanding.

With cultural attunement, warmth, and respect for your unique perspective, I’ll support you, challenge you when needed, and help you build tools that align with your goals. I help individuals from all backgrounds but I am particularly interested in working with people of color and underrepresented communities.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University and I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Pace University. My academic, personal, and professional experiences shape how I connect: with openness, empathy, and care.

I believe growth begins when you feel truly seen. My goal is to create a space where you can reflect, make meaning of your experiences, and move toward the version of yourself you are ready to be.
