“ … language and how we use language determines how we act, and how we act then determines our lives and other people’s lives.”

Poetry Therapy for Connection and Change
Where your story finds its voice—and your voice finds its power.
Poetry therapy offers a pathway to clarity, courage, and meaningful change. Through literature, lyrics, guided writing, and deep reflection, we slow down enough to notice the stories we carry—both the ones that sustain us and the ones ready to be rewritten.
Using metaphor, imagery and narrative, this work creates space to explore lived experience with honesty and care. It deepens self-awareness, strengthens resilience, and fosters connection, supporting you as you explore relationships, identity and the systems you navigate.
Offered in individual sessions, 6-week journeys and custom workshops, each experience is culturally attuned and grounded in honoring individual stories and collective histories.
Who poetry therapy is for
If you find yourself saying things like:
“My team is burnt out and needs a reset.”
“I want to understand myself and make some changes in my life.”
“We’ve had a big loss and could use a space to grieve and heal.”
“My partner and I could use help with our relationship."
… then poetry-centered work can speak to your needs.
“The group allowed me to connect with amazing women. … I learned new ways to think about challenges and new ways to encourage myself.”
—TJ, “Working While Black”
