Bianca M. Wisdom, MA, MHC-LP- Associate Psychotherapist

Welcome—and congratulations on prioritizing therapy in your life’s journey.

If you’re seeking support, clarity, and growth, you’ve come to the right place. I provide culturally competent therapy for Black women and their partners, and other people of color who are ready to center healing, self-care, and personal growth.

To me, therapy is a collaborative relationship—one rooted in trust, respect, and positive regard. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, deepen your self-awareness, and feel empowered to break generational cycles and prioritize your mental wellness.

Whether you're navigating a major life transition, facing relationship challenges, or looking for better ways to manage anxiety, trauma, or stress, I’ll meet you where you are. While I often draw from a cognitive-behavioral framework, I tailor my approach to your unique needs—always with flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and care.

My goal is to provide a warm, judgment-free zone where you can express yourself freely, cultivate self-awareness and feel empowered to reach your goals.

I work with people from all walks of life, with a particular focus on Black and Brown individuals, and those within the LGBTQIA+ community. I honor the importance of your identity—your race, ethnicity, spirituality, sexuality, and lived experience—and I make sure that’s reflected in our work together.

I offer virtual sessions for those residing in New York State.

Your well-being is my priority. Book a session today—and take the next step toward healing, connection, and lasting growth.

In Bianca’s Words

How do you take a collaborative approach to supporting a client?

Taking a collaborative approach in therapy means actively involving clients in their journey. Establishing trust and creating a safe environment for the client to feel comfortable enough to share openly is crucial. Together, we will set achievable goals that reflect their values, and I’ll prioritize active listening to understand their perspective. By inviting feedback and encouraging self-exploration, clients become empowered to actively participate in their growth.

What I enjoy most about working with my clients in therapy is seeing how intentional and involved they are in their therapeutic journey. It is incredibly rewarding to witness their commitment to personal growth and to be part of their process as they navigate challenges and celebrate successes. Their dedication and engagement make each session meaningful and impactful, and it is a privilege to support them along the way.
